DPD driver Jacob Felton helps a Wrexham woman after she fell in her garden, earning praise and an award.

Keith said Susi couldn’t move; her hip was broken. He covered her and tried getting help from neighbors, John and Michell. Their son, Will, quickly helped. Jacob arrived with the delivery, and helped too.
Susi was drenched and cold. They needed to get her to the hospital. Jacob and Will got her onto a board and carried her to Keith’s car. They slid the board, with Susi, into the car. Keith and Will could not have done it without Jacob.
Susi is recovering now, and the couple is grateful to Jacob. Susi gave Jacob his DPD CEO Award. CEO Elaine Kerr gives this award for great service, and the award includes money and a certificate.
Jacob got a card and a voucher from Butternut Box. He delivered their food for Elsie, the dog, that night.
Luke Meadowcroft is a DPD general manager. He said they are proud of Jacob and thinks Jacob is a star. Luke knew Jacob helped customers and called this a real act of kindness.
Luke said Susi and Keith are generous. They wanted the NHS and Jacob to get credit. It was good to see Susi present Jacob’s award. DPD drivers do great work in all weather, and Luke loves hearing stories like this.
