A revenge shooting at a Smethwick supermarket car park results in lengthy jail sentences for two men.

Saabir, who is twenty-six, shot his rival with a shotgun. The shooting was a drive-by attack, and Tyjon Cogger, aged twenty-two, was with him. They drove around all night in a stolen Ford Kuga searching for their rival gang member.
Finding him at Farmfoods, Mohamed shot him with a sawed-off shotgun. The victim was hit in the leg. After shooting the man, Saabir and Tyjon ran off, leaving him injured on the ground.
Mohamed got eighteen and a half years in jail, while Cogger got twenty years and eight months. Both pleaded guilty to firearm crimes. The court learned the shooting was revenge for someone stabbing Cogger’s friend earlier.
After the shooting, an Audi took the victim to a hospital. Another gang tried to attack him there with baseball bats. They tried to get into his hospital room, but police stopped them.
Because the victim was too scared to testify, police checked CCTV footage. They found Mohamed and Cogger, and video showed their arrest at gunpoint. Police focused green lasers on them, and both men are now in jail.
