A bus driver is charged with causing death by dangerous driving after a crash in Bexleyheath killed nine-year-old Ada Bicakci.

Nine-year-old Ada Bicakci went to the hospital last summer after a bus hit her and another child in Bexleyheath. Sadly, Ada later died. Martin Asolo-Agogua, 23, from Nunhead, received charges including causing death by dangerous driving, impaired driving, and exceeding a drug limit.
Police went to Watling Street and Halcot Avenue on Saturday morning, August 3, 2024. Ada’s brother was also hit in the crash, but thankfully avoided serious injuries.
Medical staff tried their best to save Ada, but the young girl died on Monday, August 5. Specialist officers still support Ada’s family.
Asolo-Agogua drove the bus and police arrested him the day of the incident, suspecting dangerous driving and drug driving. Now charged, Asolo-Agogua is out on bail and must appear in Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Monday, March 24.
Ada was Turkish-British and lived nearby. She enjoyed gymnastics and swimming and attended a local school as well as a Turkish school in south-east London.
