Hey, listen to what happened. A crash occurred near Toft Hill on Wednesday around 11:30 AM on February 19th. A black Peugeot 207 and a white Kia Ceed collided.

Sadly, the Peugeot’s driver died right there. Paramedics took the Kia’s occupants, a man and woman, to Darlington Memorial Hospital for treatment of their injuries.

The B6282 road closed for crash investigation work. It was closed between Nettlebed Lane and the A68, and this closure lasted for several hours that day.

Lots of emergency help arrived, including many ambulances. The Great North Air Ambulance also came, carrying a doctor and a paramedic.
