Four Animal Rising protesters sentenced for disrupting Muller dairy site in Droitwich back in 2022.

Remember, they were sentenced back in September 2022 for criminal damage, plus public nuisance. The group got 780 hours of unpaid work, and fines totaled about £2800. They each have to pay a £140 victim surcharge too.
The sentencing happened after a trial held on December 19, 2024. The jury found all of them guilty of public nuisance. They also committed criminal damage, and two had items to damage property.
The four defendants must do community service, with hours ranging from 120 to 240. Two more will be sentenced later; they were also found guilty in December. One got sentenced on January 27.
They argued about the dairy industry’s impact, mentioning climate issues and animal suffering. They said it justified their actions. These protests matched a larger campaign, a nationwide effort by Animal Rising called the Stop the Supply Dairy Campaign.
