Amazing drone photos highlight the vibrant Colour and Light show at York Minster, illuminating York’s history via projections.

The event tells York’s history with colorful lights. The projections shine on York’s most famous building. This is the show’s third year in York. Last year, they held it at the Art Gallery.
This year, the theme is York’s wildlife. They feature both real and mythical creatures. The show runs from February 12 to March 2. It happens between 6 PM and 9 PM daily.
It’s a projection and sound show, repeating every ten minutes. They have an accessible hour each day, running from 8 PM to 9 PM.
The volume is lower during this accessible hour. Fewer people will be present, helping more people enjoy it.
This year’s show is very “rewatchable” because there are 360 projections in total. The event lasts for twenty days, and they hid “Easter eggs” in the show.
Colour and Light happens nightly at York Minster’s South Transept until March 2.
