Ronald Horvath, a drug addict, gets 45 months for six burglaries in Bradford, targeting homes, even returning to some.

Turns out, that break-in was just the start. The guy committed six burglaries quickly within two weeks! He’s 27 years old, by the way. He had already served jail time for burglary.
Horvath even hit the same homes twice. He’s from Bradford, living on Trinity Road. He once did garden work for someone there with another person in mid-August. Later, Horvath broke into their home using a basement window.
He took a TV, PlayStation 5, and three watches. Then, he returned two days later! He stole another TV and two remote controls this time. A neighbor chased Horvath after the second burglary, who said he needed money for drugs.
Horvath burgled another house twice in a few days while the woman living there was asleep. He also broke into a flat while the owner slept, stealing a bag with a passport and bank cards including ID documents.
He had past burglary convictions, the court learned. His lawyer said he’s drug-free now in custody. He feels bad and wants to apologize, knowing his actions had a big impact.
The judge sentenced Horvath to 45 months. He admitted to six burglaries and one fraud involving using a stolen bank card. The judge called it a “burglary spree” to get drug money, she said.
She noted planning in hitting the same places again. Burglary is mean, the judge said. People work hard for their things, and deserve to feel safe at home.
He’s a repeat offender, more than just a “third striker.” The judge reduced his sentence because he pleaded guilty. It could’ve been five years after a trial. His sentence became three years and nine months.
