Officers pulled them from the car to search. They discovered the shocking weapons and drugs. Police bodycam video recorded Yousefali’s warning about the gun. It was in his waistband.
One officer asked if the weapon was real and loaded. Yousefali confirmed it was real and loaded. He even offered to show officers how to make safe. The officer refused to touch the gun.
Police found a machete near Meti’s seat. They also discovered drug-filled bags containing cocaine, cannabis, MDMA, and ketamine inside. The drugs’ street value was about £6,000.
The gun was a converted blank-firing handgun. It had four bullets. Both men admitted guilt for the October 2 events last year.
The charges related to drug possession with intent to supply. Yousefali admitted to firearm possession. Meti admitted possessing a knife and driving without insurance. Yousefali got eight years and nine months in jail. Meti received a four-year jail sentence at Bristol Crown Court.
