Twelve individuals from Dyfed recognized by the Lord-Lieutenant for outstanding contributions and cadet achievements.

Five people received awards, presented by Sara Edwards with certificates. The ceremony took place in Carmarthen at Picton Barracks on February 20.
Aled Davies is with Milford Haven Sea Cadets, while Steven Grant serves with Fishguard Sea Cadets. Jane Sanders, Lisa Bevan, and Richard Fisher all work at No 3 Welsh Wing RAF Air Cadets.
Seven cadets’ achievements were also celebrated. The event had over 100 attendees. Everyone acknowledged the cadets’ hard work.
Chloe Faulkner belongs to Llanelli Sea Cadets and Finley Fells is with Fishguard Sea Cadets. Zuzanna Radkowska, Archie Measey, and Mariana Lemon are all from Dyfed and Glamorgan Army Cadet Force.
Katy Moyes and Laura Edwards are from No 3 Welsh Wing RAF Air Cadets. They described their cadet experience to everyone.
These cadets have an exciting job until September. They go to events with the Lord-Lieutenant, including Remembrance services, Royal visits, and parades.
Leaders nominated the seven special cadets. The Reserve Forces’ and Cadets’ Association chose them, securing their Lord-Lieutenant’s cadet role.
Nearly 5,000 cadets are in Wales overall. They gain skills through community work, helping charities and engaging in various activities.
