New sauna opens in Dyfi Valley. Locals run Sawna Dyfi to share sauna benefits with everyone.

The team started one year ago. National Lottery gave them £20,000 for set-up. They made a sauna from an old horsebox. It fits six people inside. The cold plunge pool has a great view.
You can see the Dyfi estuary and Ynyslas. Boats and lights add to the charm. Rob Key directs Sawna Dyfi. He said getting ready was wild.
He loves seeing happy, sweaty customers. People enjoy chatting and meeting others too. The team wanted to place the sauna in Machynlleth. That plan failed.
The listed building nearby caused problems. Kim Bryan, Rob Key, and Nick Broster run the sauna. They want more saunas around Dyfi Valley. The sauna is open Wednesday through Sunday.
Sessions cost £10-15, or pay what you can. Book slots two weeks early online. They celebrate International Women’s Day this Saturday. It’s a special session for women.
