Police look for two teens. They rode e-scooters inside a Co-op store on Fordingbridge High Street.

The incident occurred Friday, February 14th. Riding e-scooters illegally has risen recently on roads and sidewalks.

A police spokesperson commented on this event. Staff told the teens not to enter the Co-op, but the teens ignored them.

CCTV caught these youths on camera as they rode scooters through the store on Fordingbridge High Street. The youths then left, still riding.

Police are investigating this case and plan to talk to their parents soon. The policing team shared images online and noticed illegal scooter use increased, resulting in several scooters already being seized.

People online voiced their frustration, annoyed by such town incidents. They believe scooters must be taken off roads quickly.

You can only use e-scooters on private land. Police warned they would seize illegal scooters, stating that buying a child one encourages law breaking and puts your child at risk.

Parents risk traffic offenses too, which may add points to their licenses. Donna Jones empowered officers this month, allowing them to destroy vehicles used in crime, relating to Operation Crush.
