East Lancashire businesses and individuals celebrated at the Lancashire Tourism Awards for excellence.

The awards covered 27 categories. They ranged from big attractions to small ones. They honored visitor experience and inclusive tourism. Lancashire celebrated all tourism aspects.
The Millstone in Mellor won an award for best dog-friendly pub and restaurant. The pub loves hosting dogs. They hope to welcome more in 2025.
Eight at Gazegill won best new business. It is a farm-to-fork restaurant near Howgill. Sustainability is important to them. They are up for another award too from the Countryside Alliance.
Blackburn College praised student James Ashworth. He was named student of the year because his passion impressed the judges deeply. He gained experience at Michelin-star places.
Stanley House Hotel and Spa won best wedding venue. They thanked their team and happy couples. The venue takes pride in making weddings magical and thanked everyone for their support.
Other East Lancashire winners were also announced. The Whitaker Museum won for best cultural venue, The Lawrence won for small accommodation, and Hedgerow Glamping won for camping.
The Black Bull, Bertram’s Restaurant, and Everything Retreat also won. Vikki Harris spoke about Lancashire tourism, expressing a desire for Lancashire to stay popular and for people to visit often.
Marketing Lancashire wants to improve perceptions and aims to grow the visitor economy. Businesses providing excellent experiences for guests helps Marketing Lancashire succeed.
This year, new food awards were given out. Finalists did presentations and tastings. Lone Wolf Bakery won for bakery items, and The Whitehall Hotel won for gin and spirits.
Butlers Farmhouse Cheeses won for dairy. Peppered Palette won for sauces. The awards celebrated Lancashire’s best. Winners in all categories were then listed out.
