Hey, listen to what’s happening at the park. The big storm hit on Friday, January 24th. People are working hard to fix things after.

Council workers help out, as do rangers and volunteers. They clear fallen trees and other debris, which helps make the park safe. The park is Eglinton Park in Kilwinning, by the way.

They checked footpaths and trails carefully and fixed storm damage there. Good news: some paths are now safe again. They marked these safe paths in blue on a map.

But remember, only the blue paths are safe now. The areas next to them are still unsafe, as they haven’t checked them yet. The situation is changing all the time, and they will update everyone often.

The café, car park and playpark are still open. Use only the safe paths the map shows. Sometimes, they might close paths quickly.

This lets them keep cleaning up after the storm. It’s all because of Storm Éowyn. Thanks for being patient now. They are working hard to make the park safe again.

They will post more updates soon on how it’s going, so keep an eye out for news.
