A 30-year-old man faces violent disorder charges after his arrest, joining seven others already in custody.
Also, seven other guys are in custody. They are all between 24 and 30 years old. Law enforcement charged them with violent disorder too, and they also went to court like the first guy.
A detective, Elaine Newbury, spoke about it. She said these kinds of things worry people. She added they were quick to respond because of reports, and they do not accept this bad behavior.
She also stated they keep Gwent safe and worked fast for people in Blackwood and Newbridge. That is why eight people face charges now.
