Major road closures in Essex this weekend. Affecting the M25, A12, and Dartford Crossing. Plan your travels in advance!
On Friday, the A12 closes both ways between Junctions 27 and 29. There’s also a closure on the A12 northbound exit at Junction 26. Both A12 closures happen from 9 PM to 5 AM.
The Dartford Crossing’s West Tunnel, the northbound side, will close from 9 PM to 6 AM. The A282 northbound entry slip at Junction 1a also closes at the same time. Both closures enable tunnel work.
The M25 has multiple closures. Clockwise, both the carriageway and slip roads will close, affecting Junctions 25 to 27, from 11 PM to 5 AM. Clockwise, there’s a full closure affecting Junctions 3 and 4, from 10 PM to 5:30 AM for resurfacing.
Anti-clockwise, the Junction 6 exit slip closes from 11 PM to 5:30 AM for sign work. Also anti-clockwise, the Junction 6 entry slip closes from 11 PM to 6 AM. The Junction 12 exit slip closes from 10 PM to 5 AM for a retexturing project.
Clockwise, Junction 10 has a roundabout closure. There’s also a lane and slip road closure affecting Junctions 23 and 24. These closures happen from 9 PM to 5:30 AM and 8 PM to 6 AM respectively.
Saturday, February 22nd, has fewer closures. The A12 and Dartford Crossing are clear. The M25 clockwise closes between Junctions 27 and 28 from 10 PM to 5 AM. There’s also a roundabout closure at Junction 10 clockwise due to construction.
Sunday, February 23rd, has some final closures. The A12 is clear. The Dartford Crossing’s East Tunnel, the northbound side, closes from 10 PM to 5 AM for maintenance with vehicles over 4.8m restricted.
The M25 clockwise has carriageway closure affecting Junctions 27 to 28 from 10:30 PM to 5:30 AM. There’s a roundabout closure at Junction 10 again, lasting from 9 PM to 5:30 AM.
Anti-clockwise, the Junction 15 entry slip closes, along with the Junction 14 exit slip. These closures happen from 10:30 PM to 5 AM for inspections. Safe travels!
