Elise’s mom loved her so much. She said Elise was a great mom, and she also called Elise her best friend. Everyone really liked Elise.

Donovan will be sentenced on March 5, a Wednesday. An inspector spoke about Donovan’s actions, calling Donovan manipulative and selfish.
Donovan didn’t take responsibility. He tried to blame Elise, and he lied to police and doctors. He also lied to the jury.
The court saw the truth, though. Donovan couldn’t accept the breakup, so he got angry and killed Elise. It’s hard to understand such anger.
The inspector shared his sympathy, and he thought of Elise’s family and kids. Donovan’s actions left them without their mom. It was destructive and heartless.
The inspector hopes the verdict helps. He hopes it gives the family closure, so now they can start to heal. This is a long process, no doubt.
