Weavers Wharf in Kidderminster is now card only. Cash payments are no longer accepted at the Euro Car Parks location.

Some machines were covered last week, with signs indicating that “new payment machines” were coming. Euro Car Parks put up the signs. You’ll now enter your car details to pay.
The signs mentioned the arrival of modern machines on February 18th. You must input your car’s registration to pay. Blue badge holders are entitled to two free hours; scan your badge at the machine.
Payment options include card or various apps like Just Park and RingGo. You will only receive digital receipts as LCP confirmed they only take card payments. No cash is accepted.
Weavers Wharf stated that Euro Car Parks took over to ensure good parking for everyone. They will implement new tariffs and exclusively accept card payments. Contact Euro Car Parks directly with any questions.
A shop worker expressed their concern about the move away from cash payments. They believe it disadvantages people without cards or bank accounts, and those who simply prefer using cash.
The council clarified that LCP requested to remove the car park, meaning it’s no longer under the council’s control. Parking costs £1.40 for one hour, £2.40 for two, and £3.60 for three. Four hours cost £5, and ten hours are priced at £10. These prices apply from 8 AM to 6 PM, while parking costs £5 from 6 PM to 10 PM.
