Free evening cooking sessions start next week in North Lynn. Learn new recipes, eat healthy, and save money!

The sessions are called Free Food for Thought supper sessions. They happen at The Beacon in North Lynn, at the Methodist Church on Losinga Road. They’re every Tuesday, starting February 25th, from 6 PM to 7:30 PM.
The council lady, Jo Rust, said great things about them. These sessions already helped hundreds across West Norfolk. The Lily team organizes the free events, and now, they added evenings for people who can’t make mornings.
She also mentioned combating loneliness. These events are sociable and family-friendly; kids are welcome with an adult. Young folks who want to cook cheap should come; you taste food from a professional chef.
You can show up anytime and stay as long as you want. Cost of living is hitting everyone hard, right? These sessions help residents manage that by sharing tips for cheap, healthy, tasty food weekly.
Week one is about one-pot wonders. March 4th is mid-week lunches. March 11th is batch cooking, and March 18th is “fake-away” meals. You don’t need any booking!
