The gardens have a rolling lawn. Trees and shrubs border this lawn area. People chose plants for their fancy leaves. Two beech trees represent Dorothy and Willie Banks.

A popular spot is the Small Breeds Farm. They have over 400 animals. This farm park opened back in 1991. They keep guinea pigs and alpacas both.

This place has zoo status currently. In 2024, they added more animals: degus, rhea, and turkeys. Also, they got chinchillas and Manx loaghtan sheep. They even have giant rabbits. The animal haven welcomes visitors every day. It costs £13 to enter.
