Sixty three apartments are ready. Many residents are enjoying affordable homes with supportive services.

The building sits where a shopping center that closed in the 1970s once stood. These new apartments cost £16.3 million, and this investment helps the local economy by offering 51 one-bedroom and 12 two-bedroom homes with rent that is affordable for everyone.
Preferred Homes works with the City Council to fill apartments based on people’s needs, which helps the council give cost-effective care. Hunslet Moor House covers much of the demand for care and supports people within five miles.
The building has community spaces for residents to enjoy, including a café, shop, and gardens, with the café and shop also open to the public. Apartments have kitchens and balconies, and solar panels make energy efficient living possible.
Pinnacle Group manages Hunslet Moor House, handling rent, repairs, and maintenance, and providing cleaning and gardening services. Social activities help residents enjoy their lives, creating positive impacts.
Preferred Homes has eight more projects planned, with the next one opening in Telford this spring. The company owns these properties long-term and aims to create sustainable, well-run places featuring homes following design principles for older people and incorporating smart technology.
