A new bakery brings Romanian family recipes to Worcester, offering pastries and treats.

The family wants to grow the business. They hope shops around the country will sell its products. Paula and Andy Laghiu own Papi Bakery. They searched half a year for a spot, but think the hunt paid off in the end.
Paula used to bake in Romania. She uses family recipes and enjoys cooking very much. Their food has no artificial ingredients, showing how good food can be.
Papi Bakery sells different flavored pretzels. Salted and pistachio are two popular flavors. Pizza slices and hot dogs are also on the menu. Apple strudel is the most popular item, and Andy says the business is doing well.
Customer feedback is excellent and new cakes are coming soon, which Andy thinks customers will like. Opening the store was hard but fun and finding the right place proved worthwhile.
They plan to expand to more cities like Birmingham and Bristol. They consider Gloucester and Coventry too, and London might even happen. They also want to supply coffee shops, as some folks already want their products. It is good it’s a family business customers can see.
Soon, Papi Bakery will use Just Eat, and Deliveroo will also deliver their food. Papi Bakery is open Tuesday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. Saturday hours start at 10 AM, and Sunday hours begin at 11 AM.
