Jack Ayres, 22, found dead in water. Family seeks answers after boxer goes missing near Glastonbury.

Jack, 22, was last seen on March 3rd. He walked near Sharpham Drove, close to Glastonbury. This happened at 2:30 AM. Someone found his body in the water that day. Police said a post-mortem was done, and the preliminary cause of death was drowning. They didn’t find any other injuries on Jack’s body.
Jack’s family shared a statement, saying he was loved very much. They want to understand what led to his death and hope for answers. Pyramid boxing club misses Jack and called him a family man and true warrior. Avalon boxing club also shared their sadness, noting that Jack trained there for six years.
Jack was about 6 feet tall with light brown hair and blue eyes. He wore dark clothes when last seen. Police want to help Jack’s family find answers about what happened, and they checked nearby properties for CCTV footage.
The death seems non-suspicious, police stated, but they treat it as unexplained for now and still investigate for the coroner. They ask drivers to check dashcam footage from March 3rd early AM, as any information could bring Jack’s family clarity.
Police found a body in another case while searching for Sebastian Sailes, 21. Sebastian went missing after leaving a pub in Wiltshire on February 27th at 11:30 PM. He walked south along Avon Valley Walk, and search teams focused on the River Avon.
