Gas pipe upgrades on Park Road leading to traffic light controls. Works started February 17th and due to end March.

They began yesterday, February 17th. They plan to finish by the end of March, unless they run into problems. Drivers should expect some changes.
Temporary traffic lights are going up. These got agreed with the council. The lights will be at two spots on Park Road, at different times.
One set will be at Tesco’s exit from February 18th to March 9th. The other set is at Park Road’s junction where Eagles and Bromsgrove meet, from March 10th to March 28th.
The company says it must do the work to keep gas flowing safely. Gas powers local homes and businesses and delivers it reliably, too.
Mick Gallavin manages the project, finishing a big investment. The project cost £60,000 in the area. He knows such work can be disruptive.
He stated though it is essential to keep gas flowing. They want to make sure the network is ready for the future.
