A 59 year old man shot and killed his wife at their Leicestershire farm before taking his own life, inquest confirmed.

Rachel Harrison was 54, and Richard Harrison was 59. He shot Rachel multiple times, and she died in their farm’s stable. Paramedics came and confirmed both were dead. Richard used his own legally-owned rifle; he was a cattle buyer who shot his wife, then himself.
The coroner spoke about the sad event, saying Richard meant to kill his wife. Their relationship had been bad and worsened during recent months. Neighbors shared shock and sadness, as they thought the couple was lovely. The village feels truly devastated now.
