Amy and Mick Harding take over Norton Tavern. They plan to enhance the pub’s atmosphere and offerings.

Amy worked at the pub for nine years and managed it for four. She officially took over in October. The pub reopened in December after renovations, made possible by investment from Punch Pubs & Co.
Amy values her connection with the regulars, and she and her dad are very passionate about maintaining the friendly atmosphere. They also kept the existing pub team.
The pair want the pub to stay welcoming. They treat regulars like family members, and they even know their regular drink orders, having them ready upon arrival.
Mick used to be a local greengrocer for twenty years. He brings his love for fresh food to the pub. He plans to improve the beer garden a lot.
They renovated the pub before opening. Now, they will work on the garden and function room to make it great for parties. Mick wants a kid-friendly garden area with chalkboards and play equipment planned.
Amy hired new chefs who will use local suppliers for ingredients. Mick’s contacts help them get the best produce. The new menu features seasonal, local items.
The pub will open seven days a week. Quiz night is every Thursday and very popular. They plan more events in the function room and also want to host weddings.
While no weddings are booked yet, Amy is excited about the future. They want to host family fun days soon and will have summer fairs and stalls this year.
Amy is grateful for the customers’ steady support and is thrilled to continue at The Norton Tavern.
