MV Alfred resumes Troon to Brodick route. Schedule changes, cancellations and delays will occur. MV Glen Sannox goes for repairs.

CalMac said bad weather stopped a ship repositioning. Because of the weather, some sailings of the MV Isle of Arran got canceled. The canceled trips include departures from Brodick at 8:40 AM and 1:00 PM. Departures from Troon at 6:30 AM, 10:50 AM, and 3:10 PM were also canceled. They will give an update around 3:00 PM regarding the 5:20 PM Brodick sailing.
MV Alfred is running the 9:15 AM service from Troon again. All sailings might face disruptions or delays, as the weather forecast is not ideal. Foot passengers, the 11:25 PM sailing from Brodick is full; don’t show up without a reservation. They cannot guarantee travel without a booking and are sorry for any issues this causes.
The new ferry, MV Glen Sannox, goes to Greenock for repairs. Workers will replace the anchor chain wheels to ensure safe operation for the ship. This work also reduces chances of unexpected technical problems that could affect service.
During this repair period, MV Isle of Arran is also running with MV Alfred, using their normal schedule. CalMac said the MV Isle of Arran takes a bit longer, with arrival times about five minutes later. Shuttle buses still run for MV Isle of Arran, and these services will continue when it covers for MV Glen Sannox.
