Hey, something happened in Filey. It’s about an accident leading to a woman’s death. Police are asking for help finding out what happened.

The accident happened on Station Road around 9 AM on Friday, February 28th. At first, they thought she just fell. Sadly, the woman died later in the hospital.

Police now think a vehicle hit her, and the vehicle didn’t stop after impact. She was eighty years old at the time, and she wore a red coat and used a walking aid.

They believe a white van was involved. Police want to see dashcam footage and hear from anyone who saw her, including before and during what happened.
