Incommunities clears waste in Bierley. Concrete barriers planned to deter further illegal dumping.

They plan to add concrete barriers soon to secure the site. Incommunities understands community frustration and said clean-up will take time due to the large rubbish volume. They’ve tried other prevention steps too.
Dumping shows disrespect for the area. Incommunities works with Bradford Council and will share any evidence found. They want a clean, safe place and thank residents for their patience.
David Wilkinson spoke to the T&A last week, saying the problem has lasted years and got worse in the past nine months, calling it “truly horrendous.” He wants a permanent fix.
Wilkinson suggested building new homes there; today, he supports the barrier plan. They must be tall, he added. He thanked Incommunities’ staff and wonders when dumping will restart.
Furniture was among the dumped waste. The T&A told Incommunities about Wilkinson’s worries. Wilkinson also thanked the T&A for reporting this.
