Forbidden Planet acquires Camden’s Mega City Comics after owner retirement. Staff to stay, legacy to continue.

Good news! Mega City’s staff, Vik and Jack, will stay. They will join the Forbidden Planet team. Forbidden Planet sells comics, manga, anime, and other pop culture stuff. They are really happy to keep the shop going.
They think Camden is a special place. It is a cool area in London. It’s important to music and anime culture. You could buy comics, then grab drinks nearby.
Mega City started as a mail order business back in 1981. They opened their Inverness Street shop in 1987. They sold comics, graphic novels, and other books there.
Martin Kravetz is happy about the deal. He feels Forbidden Planet will take good care of the store. He likes that a big retailer joins an old indie comic shop at its original place.
Andrew Sumner, at Forbidden Planet, is a big fan. He shopped at Mega City three times a week in the 90s. He bought many comics there. He talked with Martin’s dad, too. He wanted to save the shop from closing.
Vivian Cheung and Nick Landau own Forbidden Planet. They are excited to keep Mega City Comics going. They will respect Martin Kravetz’s legacy at the shop.
