Hey, guess what’s happening in Forkhill! That old St Oliver Plunkett’s school is getting a makeover. Remember the one on School Road? It’s changing quite a bit. They’re planning a cool new housing area there.

The school is sitting empty, so they’re putting it to good use. It’s going to bring more homes to the village. They are taking down the old school building.

Then, a new three-bedroom bungalow will go up. Behind that, five more houses will be built. These homes will have different styles and sizes. Rathkeen Properties wants to build these homes.

The company thinks it will help Forkhill. They want to use the old school land. It has been empty for a while. The address is 11 School Road. The school looks like a house now.

It still has electric and drainage. The walls are good, with doors and windows. It even has a fireplace inside. The area has old and new houses already.

The new houses will fit right in. The roads and services are all set up too. Traffic should not get worse. They think this will really improve things. The new buildings will copy the school’s look. Soon everyone will be able to see their plans.
