Foster Christian got life for fatally stabbing Simon Gorecki and Natasha Sadler-Ellis after a hot water dispute in Canterbury.

The events happened on March 29, 2016. Christian lived with Gorecki and Sadler-Ellis. A hot water dispute turned violent. He fatally stabbed Simon Gorecki, 48, and Natasha Sadler-Ellis, 40. The investigation showed it was murder.
Christian also hurt Natasha’s son, 20, and a boy, 16. The victims had many stab wounds. After the attack, Christian called the police. He said he was attacked in his house and mentioned Simon, his girlfriend, and the boys.
Christian claimed they hit him with cans and bottles. He then admitted he grabbed a knife during the fight. The argument had tragic results. Two lives were lost, and others were ruined. Christian stabbed them, but it was not self-defense.
The trial lasted three weeks at Maidstone Crown Court. He was guilty of two murders and two woundings. In October 2016, they gave him a life sentence. He must serve at least 30 years.
Judge Stuart-Smith spoke about tensions in the house, noting that drinking made things worse. He told Christian his reaction was extreme and stated it was a murderous attack. Judge Stuart-Smith pointed out Gorecki had a can, not a knife, and Sadler-Ellis was also unarmed.
The judge doubted Christian considered the attack’s impact. He hurt those he killed and wounded. Others also suffer from their loss.
