Four individuals are in custody after a 28-year-old man died from injuries in Hemlington.

Two men, ages 27 and 43, were arrested on suspicion of murder. Additionally, a 38-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman were detained on suspicion of assisting an offender.
All four individuals are currently in police custody and are being questioned. Detectives from the HMET team are diligently working on the case and providing support to the victim’s family.
Following a report of a possible stabbing just after midnight on Friday, detectives are working tirelessly to gather information about the incident. They are reviewing CCTV footage and pursuing all leads to identify those responsible.
