Okay, so Ed Osborne disappeared. He was last seen on January 14th around 5:30 PM.

His car was discovered on January 17th in Ipswich. Police have stopped actively searching for him, stating there are no new leads right now. The case is paused until something new pops up.

Officers searched near the Orwell River and along the coastline. A Coastguard helicopter helped, and Suffolk Lowland Search and Rescue also took part.

Ed’s partner described him lovingly, calling him a “silent unsung hero”. They have been together for six years and are still very much in love.

She said Ed is a Suffolk gentleman who loves being outdoors and helping people. He protects and supports his family greatly, being dependable, loyal, and friendly. His old friends support the search and want him home safely.

A rescue group, DK9, helped a lot, searching even in the cold. Ed’s partner is asking people to keep looking and wants them to find his keys and phone. He wore specific items, including his coat and trainers, along with the hat, keys, and phone which are gone.

Ed is the guitarist in a band. His bandmates sent messages of support, asking everyone to not give up hope and longing for his safe return. They miss Ed and want to play music with him again. The band thinks of his family and hopes he returns safely to them.

Ed is white, about 6ft tall, and has a slim build. He has a raven tattoo on his arm.

If you see him, call 999 and use CAD 361 from January 14th. This will help the police identify the case.
