A 64-year-old man was jailed after pulling a gun on his granddaughter during an argument over his late wife’s ashes.

Martin Gordon, age 64, pulled a pistol during the day. He confronted his family at a pub because the ashes had been moved. The argument streamed live on Facebook. Gordon’s grandson waved a baseball bat during the chaos.
Police found Gordon fast and arrested him in 40 minutes. He sat in a black Range Rover. He had a gun, blank bullets, a pick axe handle, and two tasers.
Police searched his house later and found live ammunition. He faced charges for possessing a firearm, lacking a license for ammo, and illegally possessing two tasers.
Gordon admitted he was guilty. He said he needed the gun because someone stole £200,000 from him. The judge sentenced him to five years, calling it a soap opera scene.
Police said Gordon showed the gun in public. They quickly found and arrested him, taking the gun away fast. The police fight gun crime and jail those with weapons.
Two brothers also went to jail for trying to sneak guns into the UK, hiding them in a microwave. Cadien Pink, 41, and Edward Pink, 46, ordered guns from Florida. They got one Taurus pistol, three Glock-type pistols, and 59 bullets.
The guns lacked serial numbers and went to a business in London. US Homeland Security scanned them. Agents told London police about it. Police arrested the Pink brothers. Cadien had a voice note where a US contact discussed the guns.
Cadien, from Surrey, got 14 years. Edward, from Streatham, got 12 years.
