NHS Trust seeks community input on the future of Grantham’s old hospital buildings on Manthorpe Road. Share your ideas until March 31.

The NHS already invested in the main Grantham hospital; think new equipment and nicer spaces. But this older building’s still just sitting there. They’re thinking of three main options for it now: reuse it for NHS stuff is one.
Another choice could be selling it to developers. Or, they could tear it down and rebuild something else. The NHS spoke to important people already. They really want community input on all of this.
The head of buildings said it all helps with future decisions. You can share your thoughts a few simple ways; fill out an online survey if you like, or check out an event at the hospital in March.
Two dates are available: March 3 from 6-7pm or March 12, 1-2pm. Or, join a Teams meeting online in March too. Those dates are March 6 plus March 11, and both meetings are free for you.
These meetings have limited space, so register early to attend in person. This all started because people are worried. A local councillor speaks about its meaning to people; she wants them to listen to residents.
She also mentions past campaigns for the building. People see it as vital to Grantham’s history. Some think it shows the decline of local hospital services. You can share your ideas until March 31.
