Westgate Gallery owner in Grantham is upset after £200 worth of Jellycat toys were stolen while she aided another customer.

It happened while Kirsty helped a man who couldn’t see well. Another person took eight Jellycat stuffed toys. Kirsty felt awful because it was her money. Small shops don’t have theft budgets like big stores. She runs the business to support her kids.
Kirsty said stealing hurts her and her kids. She has seen thefts before, but it is rare. It has occurred only two or three times prior.
She moved her remaining toys behind the checkout now. The stolen toys were one-third of her Jellycat supply. Kirsty installed a security camera after the theft. Tags feel costly plus distrustful for buyers, she says.
Since the theft, people have shown so much support. Customers even bought more Jellycat toys to help out. People are looking online for the stolen toys.
A toast bag, a mouse, a rabbit, and an egg toy went missing. Jellycat sells distinctive, expensive toys. They retail from £25 to as high as £200. Police are aware and investigating to learn more.
