Jump Revolution in Grantham closes after six years. Owners cite struggles in the leisure industry. The trampoline park shut its doors for good.

They posted about the closure online this week. They said it was a really tough decision. The leisure industry has many struggles now, and it’s just too hard to keep the business going strong.
The family is really thankful for their customers and team. Covid hurt things, Gemma said, and the cost of living crisis made it worse, because people can’t spend as much on fun stuff.
They tried keeping prices low to help, but it still wasn’t enough, even during winter. Gemma feels sad that people can’t afford it, but they lasted for six years, which is great.
Gemma said the journey was hard but worth it. They watched local kids grow up there and they’ve seen families come back many times. Jump also supported groups like Grantham Disabled Children’s Society.
They stopped taking bookings earlier this month and their last day was February 9th. Gemma wanted to close things properly and kindly. She is helping her staff find new jobs.
The staff are like family to her, she shared. She runs the business with her husband, Paul. Her brother-in-law, Kerr Dickson, is also involved. They celebrated 3 years running it in 2022.
