Council rejects plan for mobile home, caravan, and day room due to Green Belt impact and court order violation.

He wanted a mobile home and a caravan. He also wanted a day room on the land, which is located near Gravesend.
Work began before he got permission. His plan was in the Metropolitan Green Belt. He said the plan was okay and saw no reason for refusal.
The Gravesham Borough Council (GBC) disagreed with him. They said his plan was not right and that it would harm the Green Belt area.
The area has a court order which prevents caravans and mobile homes there. The plan would hurt the look of the land and wouldn’t help farming.
The plans also lacked biodiversity measures. He offered no new plants or landscaping. Over 330 people objected to the plan because they knew work started early.
People saw diggers on the land prior to approval. The council told the site users to stop working immediately. Also, a government group supported the council.
They upheld a notice from August 2023. The landowner had appealed it without success. The council restated the rules of the court order.
The council will handle planning issues strongly and will seek suitable solutions. A mobile home arrived in December and damaged trees driving to its spot.
Whitepost Farm has a history of planning trouble. Past applications were denied, and appeals did not work out.
