Kids can collect stamps from shops during Half Term in Harwood for a chance to win prizes like tickets & meals.

To participate, collect stamps from six shops. These shops are all on the high street. Look for Holy Cannoli, Flow Wellbeing Network, Gareth’s Florists, Brie Mine, My Happy Place, and Finch Bakery. Each shop will have a star to stamp your entry card.
Schools are giving out the entry cards now. Over 9,000 kids will get them. They attend 36 Hyndburn primary schools. The goal is to support local shops and encourage families to shop local during the holiday.
Hand in your card when you have six stamps. Drop it at Great Harwood Library before 1 PM on February 21. Remember that the library hours vary by day.
They will draw winners for fun prizes. The first prize is a meal at Mellows Lounge. Second place wins a meal at Holy Cannoli. Third place gets a meal at Akela Street Food. Fourth place wins a Finch Bakery voucher, and fifth place gets a hamper from Brie Mine.
Twenty people will win free cinema tickets for sixth place! The first 200 people get free popcorn at the library when they drop off their card, while supplies last.
The UK Government funds this event, which Hyndburn Borough Council delivers. There is also a pop-up cinema called ‘Hollywood in Harwood’. It will run from Feb 14 to 16 and takes place in the Mercer Hall.
The cinema is in the old swimming pool area. They have nine showings, and it is free to attend. Tickets are going fast, and many shows are already full.
