On March 1st and 2nd, things change. Trains from London to Bristol go a different way. They skip Didcot, Swindon, and Chippenham stations. Some trains go via Swindon to Bristol instead. These trains then miss Chippenham and Bath Spa.
Buses will replace trains between Swindon and Chippenham. Trains between London Paddington and South Wales remain normal. Trains still run between London and Cheltenham. Trains operate between Chippenham and Bristol/Westbury.
More work happens on March 22-23 and 29-30. This affects trains between Didcot and Bristol or Chippenham. Trains from London to Bristol or Swansea will detour. These trains will not stop at Didcot, Swindon, or Chippenham.
Buses replace trains. The buses run between Swindon and Didcot/Reading. Buses also replace trains linking Swindon and Chippenham. On Sundays, buses extend to connect to Bath Spa. Replacement buses run between Swindon and Bristol on March 29-30.
Trains still connect Swindon and Cheltenham Spa. Trains still operate between Chippenham and Westbury. Service runs between Chippenham and Bristol on Saturdays.
