53 new homes are coming to Gwynedd. The Welsh Government’s £10 million package will boost affordable housing for families.

The funding aims to boost affordable housing as part of a larger plan for Wales. Clwyd Alan will build forty-four homes near Pen y Berth, Penrhos. Grwp Cynefin will build nine homes total, with eight in Aberdaron and one in Y Rhiw.
The money will buy land and properties needed for new houses. The Welsh government will finish the houses, with sixteen housing projects set to make 238 homes across Wales.
More money is coming in 2025-26: thirty million pounds from a grant that will help. Investing in housing helps everyone, lowering poverty, improving health, and growing the economy. Wales really needs more homes now.
The government wants twenty thousand new social homes for rent that are low carbon. This extra funding helps people and gives families affordable houses.
A program called TACP has been successful in helping with housing and will open again soon. They plan to award £100 million after listening to feedback, and applications begin early next year.
