Junior Romeo, 20, fatally stabbed on Bodney Road. Police investigate, arresting two suspects. Community assistance sought.
Police were called; it was 5:59 PM when they arrived. Medics tried to help Junior, also known as Jason or LD. Sadly, he died from stab wounds.
Police arrested two guys, both in their 20s. They are still in custody right now. LD was said to live on Pembury Road’s Pembury Estate, across from where it happened.
Detectives are asking for help. They want anyone who saw anything to come forward, as any video from nearby could be helpful. They are working hard on the case.
Police are heartbroken for the family. Knife crime claimed another young life. They are working with the community to fight it and want to stop more violence.
Police urge anyone carrying a knife to get help and talk to someone you trust. They can help you step back from it safely.
Expect to see more officers around, some in uniform, others not so much. The crime scene will stay up until forensics finishes.
