Police arrived just before 6 PM. LD, who was 20, died soon after. Authorities arrested two men, aged 23 and 25. Police suspect them of murder.

Sources say LD lived on Pembury Estate. This estate is on Pembury Road, across from where the crime occurred. Residents paid tribute to him on Wednesday.

One man knew LD for years and said he loved him like a brother. He also said LD avoided trouble. Locals mentioned LD had family in Brighton, yet he lived in the area.

A family friend spoke to the PA news agency, heartbroken by the news. She had seen him just days before, and he gave her a big hug.

Neighbors expressed shock about the stabbing. One woman said she always felt safe there and had not seen such violence before.
