A family continues a cattery legacy, expands with new facilities, and honors the founder through dedicated cat care.
Ryan grew up at the cattery, learning about it before he could walk. He absorbed Pat’s love and knowledge, and helped the business after school. He used a website and social media to grow the business even more.
Ryan met Emily, whose family also loved animals. They had horses and other pets. In 2020, Ryan and Emily bought Clearview Cattery. The world faced a global pandemic then, so they took a big risk with their purchase.
They continued Pat’s excellent cat care. Their vision was to create a luxury cattery. Ryan then named it P.S. I Love Cats. The name uses Patricia Strange’s initials, honoring where it all began.
Emily’s mom, Nadine, opened Stableview Cattery in 2022. It was in Charnock Richard, and reflects her lifelong love for animals. Nadine wanted a state-of-the-art facility that would give cats the best care.
Stableview Cattery quickly earned a five-star license. This showed their care and attention, and Stableview soon became a top local cattery. In 2023, the families married, cementing their bond and shared passion.
P.S. I Love Cats is now a family of cat lovers. Their commitment is to care for every cat. Ryan says they offer the highest care levels and want to make a difference for cats, while the family wants to grow its loving approach.
The family helps local cat rescue charities, and Ryan hopes to increase this support. The family’s dedication extends beyond their business, showing they are making a difference in the community.
They worked hard on Clearview Cattery, which gives cats a great “home away from home.” The new cattery has underfloor heating, and chalets are large and meet rules. Cats have private outdoor patios, open all day, and comfort and well-being are key.
