Organisers of the Unity Festival want Havering Council to allow more events in Harrow Lodge Park, Hornchurch.
Fatima and Haseeb Saleh want changes. They organized the Unity Festival before, which took place in Harrow Lodge Park. They asked Havering Council for permission and wish to hold events more often. Current rules limit events to twice per year, and they want to remove this limit completely.
The licence application covers more, as Fatima and Haseeb want to change event rules. They are talking to the council, and they hope to plan more local events. Fatima spoke with the Recorder about it.
The Unity Festival went well, and the community supported the festival a lot. Fatima and Haseeb now work with the council, and they desire to organize more events in the park. They aim to create balanced events for families that unite local residents.
