Adam Harking planned to be on a new ITV show in 2005. He was a Kilbirnie actor. At twelve, Adam starred in Heartless, acting alongside Angus Deayton and Simone Lahbib.

Dykesmains Primary School celebrated Scotland back in March 2005. They held their own Burns and St Andrew’s Day, and it looked like a fun celebration!

The Blacklands Mother and Toddler Group met in March 2005. Jan Wallace, a childminder, was there alongside Alison McClarty, chairwoman. Morgan Woods, Cameron McClarty, and Euan Porter attended as well.

Kids at Quarriers Seafield School made art. The Royal Scottish Academy showed it in Irvine in 2005. Jordon Jackson, age ten, displayed his work, and Councillor Peter McNamara viewed his art.

Beith Netball Club raised money back in March 2005. They did a sponsored tournament to help the Asian Tsunami appeal.

The St Anthony’s PS Enterprise Group helped others. In March of 2005, they raised funds for North Ayrshire Cancer Care. They earned £50 selling stationary to staff, and pupils also purchased the stationery.
