A large truck crashed into a wall on Stockton Road in Darlington. One person was hospitalized, causing traffic delays.

A big truck crashed and broke through a wall, almost hitting a nearby tree. Someone was taken to Darlington Memorial Hospital.
The A1150 was shut down, causing traffic to jam up all over. The A66 also experienced delays, some lasting thirty minutes. Stockton Road remained closed from 1 PM onward.
A dog walker passing by said it looked bad and hoped everyone was okay. The crash was near her house on Whinfield Road.
Police reported receiving the call about the single-vehicle crash on the A1150 around 1:50 PM. The driver was taken to the hospital, and arrangements are being made to move the truck soon. The road remains closed between the A66 and Barmpton Lane.
Ambulance services reported receiving a call at 1:46 PM regarding the crash on Stockton Road. They sent an ambulance team and a clinical leader, and the air ambulance also arrived.
Fire crews responded to the scene following a call around 1:50 PM about a truck on the A1150. Two Darlington fire crews and one crew from Cleveland assisted.
