House 2 Home opened on November 17, 2024. It sat on Church and Castle Streets’ corner. The Free Press got photos of closing signs.

The shop sells things like pillows and rugs. It also sells kitchen appliances, clocks, and suitcases. They sell general bric-a-brac too.

The signs went up in February. House 2 Home is in Primark’s old spot. A worker stated they have no set closing date. They think it will happen in a couple months. Primark moved last September. They went from Chilterns to Eden Shopping Centre.

House 2 Home opened just two months after. Staff worked hard to prep the shop then. They put up the outside sign quickly. And they arranged all items on display inside.

A staff member said it should close soon. This worker told the Free Press the expected timeframe. Another worker had said it would last. They swore it wasn’t just a Christmas pop-up. The first week, they offered a 50% discount. Things slowed down since the opening. The business should close this spring.
