Fundraiser at Drumossie Hotel raises over £80,000 for Highland Hospice. Models share inspiring stories on the catwalk.

The event took place at the Drumossie Hotel. People modeled clothes from Hospice shops and shared personal stories about illness.
Alison McRitchie organized it again this year. They raised over £80,000 for the charity. People were really smiling that night.
Models showed off their normal clothes choices and videos told each model’s story. Then, models showed their evening clothes, truly inspiring everyone.
One model, Sarah Warner, sadly passed away before the event. Her daughter Chloe and niece Bethany walked for her. Chloe shared her mom’s life advice: wearing a smile helps the most. It was a very brave moment.
Jackie MacKenzie also walked the catwalk. He’s retired and has COPD, and attends the Netley Centre at the Hospice. He praised their work and explained that everyone shares similar experiences there, making him feel like himself.
The staff is kind and makes great shortbread. Jackie thought modeling would be fun. Natalie Woodward spoke about surviving stage 4 cancer, and the room was packed out for the event. Everyone seemed to have a good time.
