Richard Graham will hike 100km from Basingstoke to Selsey on June 20 to raise money for Saxon Woods School.

He wants to raise £1,500. This money goes to Saxon Woods School, where his nephew attends. The school helps kids with special needs, teaching ages 2 to 11.
Richard picked Saxon Woods because it is important to his family. He wants to help the kids, buy equipment, and aid the school.
Richard likes to hike a lot. Last year, he walked 70km and raised £1500 for Mind. That walk started at 2am and took him 16.5 hours.
This journey is 100km long. He starts at midday on June 20 and finishes 24 hours later, on June 21. This walk will be his longest ever.
He likes walking a lot. He hiked Snowden before, and also walked to Winchester last year. He enjoys being in nature.
Being in nature helps his mental health a lot. He loves the peace there, away from the rush, and does not use headphones.
To train, he walks 20km on the weekends. He also walks less during the week. He plans a 70km training walk.
His family cheered him on last year. He chose Selsey beach as the end because he likes the beach as an endpoint. People can cheer him on there, and they can also have lunch.
His 70km walk was easier than he thought, so he added 30km this time. He feels good about the 100km. It will be hard, but he can finish.
